Maruti Suzuki Victoris Secures 5-Star Bharat NCAP Safety Rating | V3Cars
Maruti Suzuki’s latest C-SUV, the 2025 Victoris, has achieved a 5-star safety rating in Bharat NCAP (BNCAP) crash tests, marking a significant milestone for India’s largest carmaker. This makes the Victoris the second Maruti model to bag the coveted 5-star score under India’s homegrown safety assessment program.

Maruti Suzuki Victoris Crash Test Results
BNCAP tested the ZXI+ (O) AT (mild-hybrid) and ZXI+ / ZXI+ (O) (strong-hybrid) variants of the Victoris, which weighed in at 1,549kg during evaluation.

Adult Occupant Safety
In the frontal offset deformable barrier test, the Victoris scored 15.66 out of 16, with “good” protection recorded for critical areas such as the head, neck, pelvis, thighs, and feet of the driver. Chest and tibia protection was rated “adequate,” the second-highest grade.
For the co-driver, protection levels were rated “good” across all body regions.
In side-impact tests – including both side pole and side deformable barrier evaluations – the Victoris excelled, delivering perfect scores (16/16) with “good” protection for the head, chest, abdomen, and pelvis.
Child Occupant Safety
While BNCAP does not release exhaustive details for child safety, the Victoris notched up an impressive 43 out of 49 points, distributed as follows:

This stands as Maruti’s highest-ever score for child occupant protection in Bharat NCAP tests.
2025 Maruti Suzuki Victors Safety Features
The Victoris backs its crash test results with an extensive safety equipment list:
- 6 standard airbags
- ABS with EBD
- Electronic Stability Control (ESC)
- ISOFIX child seat mounts
- Level-2 ADAS suite with adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and autonomous emergency braking
- 360° surround view camera
- Tyre pressure monitoring system
- Parking sensors (front & rear)
