2025 MG Windsor EV Pro Now More Affordable With Launch On New Exclusive Pro Variant | V3Cars

Note: The ex-showroom price of the new Windsor EV Exclusive Pro is very close to the Rs. 17.5 lakh (ex-showroom) MG were asking for the top Essence Pro variant when it was launched on May 6, 2025. However, MG Motor had stated that the 17.5 lakh asking price was an introductory offer for the first 8,000 bookings. Now that the first 8,000 units of the Windsor Essence Pro are called for, MG Motor have increased prices of the Essence Pro variant by Rs. 60,000, providing a neat little gap for the new Exclusive Pro to slot into.

The price difference between the newly launched Exclusive Pro variant and the Essence Pro variant launched earlier this month is Rs. 85,000.

With the launch of the Exclusive Pro variant, MG have closed the gap between the medium and long range variants of the MG Windsor EV from Rs. 1.95 lakh (Essence to Essence Pro) to Rs. 1.1 lakh (Essence to Exclusive Pro).

2025 Windsor Exclusive Pro Features

The Windsor EV Exclusive Pro and Essence Pro share common features such as 18-inch machined alloy wheels, dual-tone ivory and black interior, aero lounge seats, vehicle-to-load (V2L) technology and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) technology

However, the new Windsor EV Exclusive variant lacks the panoramic glass roof that is offered in the top Essence and Essence Pro variants.

It is unclear if the Exclusive Pro offers ADAS at the moment as MG are yet to update the brochure for the Windsor EV. So, stay tuned as we get more updates regarding the new Exclusive Pro’s feature list. 

2025 MG Windsor Pro Colour Options

The new MG Windsor EV Exclusive Pro is available in 3 colours. 

• Green (turquoise)
• White
• Black

MG are not offering the Exclusive Pro variant with the new blue, red and silver colour options that were introduced in the Essence Pro variant earlier this month.

2025 MG Windsor EV Pro – Powertrain Specs

Here are the electric motor and battery specs of the new MG Windsor EV Pro:

While the standard Windsor EV is equipped with a 38kWh battery pack, the Windsor EV Pro offers a larger 52.9kWh battery pack. Thanks to the bigger batteries, the Windsor EV Pro offers a range of 449km, which is an improvement of 117km over the standard Windsor EV.

It’s worth noting that the Windsor EV Pro offers faster charging capabilities. Where the standard Windsor EV only supports 45kW chargers, the new Windsor EV Pro supports 60kW fast chargers. The standard Windsor EV can be charged from 20-80% in just 45 mins using a 45kW fast charger. The Windsor EV Pro offers a comparable time of 50 minutes using a 60kW fast charger.

The Windsor EV Pro is offered with a 7.4kW home charger, similar to the top variant of the standard Windsor. It takes 9.5 hours to charge the batteries of the Essence Pro variant from 0-100%, while the Essence with the smaller battery pack takes 7 hours.  

2025 MG Windsor Exclusive Pro Bookings And Delivery Details

Bookings for the 2025 Windsor EV Pro are currently open. Interested customers can book the Windsor EV Exclusive Pro with a taken amount of Rs. 11,000 at any authorised MG dealerships or via the brand’s official website.

Deliveries of the MG Windsor EV Exclusive Pro variant will begin in the first week of June 2025.

MG are offering the Windsor EV Pro with a 3-year unlimited vehicle warranty, 3-year roadside assistance, and 3 labour-free services. They also assure buyers a 60% buyback guarantee after a period of 3 years. The newly launched Windsor EV Pro variants rival the likes of the Tata Nexon EV and Curvv EV as well as the Mahindra XUV400 EV and Hyundai Creta Electric.
