Nissan Black Edition: Design And Features

The upcoming Nissan Magnite Black edition will build on the facelifted Magnite’s refreshed design. This special edition is expected to feature a comprehensive blacked-out treatment across its exterior elements, just like the Kuro edition in 2023. While specific details from the teasers are limited, we expect Nissan to offer the following styling elements:

  • A black front grille and grille surrounds.
  • Blacked-out skid plates and roof rails.
  • All-black alloy wheels with red accents
  • Red brake calipers
  • Blacked-out door handles and window accents
  • Smoked headlamps.

The all-black theme will extend to the interior of the Magnite Black edition. While the overall layout will remain familiar to the standard Magnite, key interior updates are expected to include:

  • All-black upholstery with contrast stitching
  • Blacked-out interior trims and accents
  • Gloss black finishes on the steering wheel, air vents and door trim

In terms of features, the Magnite Black Edition is expected to be based on the top Tekna Plus variant of the B2-SUV, meaning it will come fully loaded with convenience, safety and technology features such as:

  • Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
  • Wireless smartphone charging pad
  • 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system

2025 Nissan Magnite Black Edition Expected Prices

The 2025 Nissan Magnite Black Edition is expected to carry a slight premium over the standard Tekna Plus variant. For reference, the Tekna Plus variant is currently priced between Rs. 9.27 lakh to Rs. 11.76 lakh (ex-showroom).

The latest limited edition of the Magnite is strategically timed for the upcoming festive season, aiming to capitalise on consumer sentiment and maintain momentum for the Magnite, which remains Nissan’s only offering in the country at the moment.

Beyond the limited edition of the Magnite, Nissan have hinted at the development of a Renault Triber-based MPV and a new C-segment SUV based on the upcoming Renault Duster, both of which are expected to launch by mid-2026. The Magnite Kuro Edition serves as a low-investment, high-impact refresh to keep the brand relevant and exciting ahead of these significant new model launches.

The Nissan Magnite facelift recently scored a 5-star Global NCAP rating after a few safety and structural upgrades. Learn more about how the Magnite achieved this rating by tapping the link below:
