Tata Motors have launched the 2025 Safari Stealth Edition, which was first showcased at the Auto Expo 2025. The new Stealth Edition of the Safari, which is limited to just 2,700 units, is based on the top Accomplished Plus variant and sits above the Safari Dark variants. Take a look at the ex-showroom prices, top features, specifications and other details of the Safari Stealth Edition below.

The Safari Stealth Edition diesel-manual is priced at a premium of Rs. 45,000 over the top Safari Dark manual variant. The automatic variants of the Safari Stealth cost Rs. 25,000 more than the top Safari Dark variants. As with all Safari variants, the Safari Stealth Edition equipped with an automatic transmission costs Rs. 1.4 lakh more than the manual variant. The 6-seater automatic variant is priced at a premium of Rs. 10,000 over the 7-seater model.
The Safari Stealth Edition gets a matte black exterior colour that befits the name. At the Auto Expo, my colleague said the new Stealth Editions of the Harrier and Safari are “the most dangerous cars to drive on Indian roads at night.” Apart from this unique selling point, here are the top features of Safari Stealth Edition:

The Safari Stealth Edition is powered by the same 2.0L diesel engine as other variants of the SUV. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
Tata are expected to launch the Harrier petrol this year. Hence, we expect Tata to offer the Stealth Edition variants with the petrol powertrain in the near future.
Currently, the Safari diesel rivals other diesel 6- and 7-seater SUVs such as the MG Hector Plus and the Mahindra XUV700 and Jeep Meridian.
