2025 Tata Sierra Mid Variants With Dual Screen Layout Revealed | V3Cars
As the 2025 Tata Sierra inches closer to launch, we’re now getting a clearer picture of how Tata plans to differentiate the SUV across its variant lineup. A new set of interior visuals, likely from the mid variants, reveal a dual-screen dashboard layout, single-tone ambient lighting, and several design elements carried over from the range-topping variant.
At first glance, it may look like a simple “fewer screens in lower variants” situation. But a closer look tells a deeper story about Tata’s strategy for the Sierra and the kind of buying decisions customers will eventually face. Here’s our detailed breakdown:
Dual-Screen Layout For 2025 Sierra Mid Variants
The new video suggests that Tata will offer a dual-screen layout and single-tone ambient lighting in the Sierra’s mid variants. The dual-screen layout consists of a fully digital instrument cluster and a large central touchscreen. While both screens are integrated seamlessly, the instrument cluster gets a binnacle, possibly to improve visibility by reducing glare.
The video also confirms that the mid variants of the new Sierra will offer the same 4-spoke steering wheel with backlit logo, climate control touch panel with toggle switches, and the extendable thigh support for the front seats as the top variant.
Tata seems to be splitting the interior experience into 2 clear zones:
- Tech-focussed premium variants – Triple screens, multi-colour ambient lighting, upgraded sound system.
- Value-focused variants – Dual screens, single-tone ambient lighting without compromising on comfort. No dolby Atmos logo here.
The difference in the ambient lighting isn’t just aesthetic, it shapes the overall cabin psychology. A warm, single-tone lights gives a calmer, more mature ambiance, whereas multi-colour lighting creates a tech-lounge atmosphere suitable for the top variant.
While not visible in the video, the chances of Tata offering the panoramic sunroof in the mid variants seem slim.
Feature Distribution: What Buyers Should Expect
Based on what we’ve seen, here’s how Tata appear to be building the Sierra’s variant strategy:
Sierra Mid Variants Likely To Offer:
- Dual-screen dashboard
- Ambient lighting (single-tone)
- Full digital driver display
- Touchscreen with new-gen interface
- Single-zone climate control
- Wireless charger
- Front armrest
- Steering-mounted controls
- Standard audio system
Top Variants Will Further Offer:
- Triple-screen layout (dedicated passenger display)
- Multi-colour ambient lighting
- 12-speaker JBL sound system
- Dolby Atmos
- Dual-zone climate control
- Ventilated front seats
- Powered driver seat
- Boss mode
- Panoramic sunroof
- ADAS Level 2
So, will you miss out too much by not buying the top model? In the Sierra’s case, the answer seems to be no. The dual-screen layout, ambient lighting, premium materials, and strong base design ensure the mid variants still give you the full Sierra experience minus some of the more indulgent tech features. This positions the Sierra as a practical choice for buyers who want the new design and space without stretching their budget for features they may not use daily.
