Maruti Brezza 2026 Expected Price (Variant-wise)

The Brezza 2026 will get 4 variants (LXI, VXI, ZXI & ZXI Plus) and the following 4 powertrain options:

• 1.5L normal petrol with 6-speed manual transmission
• 1.5L normal petrol with 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission
• 1.0L turbo petrol with 6-speed manual transmission
• 1.5L normal CNG bi-fuel with 6-speed manual transmission

The following table presents our 2026 Brezza price expectations for each variant:

Maruti Brezza 2026 — Starting Price Expectation

The Brezza currently starts at Rs. 8.26 lakh. The new Brezza is getting a 6-speed manual transmission. This upgrade along with the opportunity to accommodate the inflation pricing should push the Brezza LXI 1.5L petrol-manual’s pricing to Rs. 8.50 lakh.

Moreover, when the GST revision rolled out in September 2025, Maruti Suzuki dropped the pricing of the Brezza more than they should have. Since the other 4m cars were getting much sweeter tax breaks, Maruti Suzuki had to cut the pricing a little more to remain competitive. Instead of the usual ~3.50% price cut, Maruti Suzuki gave the Brezza 5.0 - 8.50% rate cuts. Bringing that back into the pricing alone should add Rs. 13,000.

Brezza Turbo Petrol Base Model Price

On the bright side, Maruti Suzuki no longer have to maintain an attractive pricing with the 1.5L variants. Now that they are bringing the Brezza with 1.0L turbo petrol, they will have the opportunity to increase their margins while having the ability to price the turbo petrol engines lower.

With the Fronx, the Delta Plus turbo variant carries a premium of Rs. 82,000 over the 1.2L normal petrol. Do note that this pricing is inclusive of the 18% GST applicable on larger cars.

With a starting price of Rs. 8.50 lakh for the 1.5L normal petrol LXI variant, the ex-factory price comes out to be around Rs. 6.07 lakh. With 18% GST and an estimated Rs. 8.10 lakh price for 1.0L turbo petrol LXI variant, the ex-factory price comes out to be Rs. 6.87 lakh. That’s a fancy Rs. 80,000 premium for the turbo petrol — pre GST.

Besides, the turbo petrol should not cost a lot more here since the baseline with Brezza is the larger 1.5L normal petrol engine. If they are able to offer it for Rs. 82,000 premium, including GST, with the Fronx, then Rs. 80,000 pre-GST over 1.5L engine is great margins.

An Rs. 8.10 lakh price also establishes a higher Rs. 8.0 lakh anchor in the minds and positions it higher than the Venue 1.2L base model, which costs Rs. 7,99,990 — maintaining a lower Rs. 7.0 lakh anchor in the price tag.

Brezza 2026 1.5L — Maintaining Premium Positioning

With our estimated base price of Rs. 8.10 lakh for Brezza LXI turbo petrol and Rs. 8.50 lakh for the Brezza LXI 1.5L normal petrol, Maruti Suzuki will appear to position the 1.5L engine at a higher price point. This is despite a Rs. 80,000 lower ex-factory price for the 1.5L engine.

Maruti Suzuki have maintained for a long time that their research has confirmed time and time again that the customer gives higher weightage to a larger displacement engine. As in, the perceived value of a 1.5L normal petrol will always remain higher than that of a 1.0L turbo petrol engine even if the turbo ends up being more punchy.

Maintaining a higher premium for the 1.5L engine is in line with that thought even if it comes at the cost of their bottom line.

Having the turbo petrol option with Rs. 80,000 higher ex-factory price than the 1.5L normal petrol while maintaining an ex-showroom price advantage of Rs. 40,000 will also allow Maruti Suzuki to gauge the true demand for a small displacement turbo petrol over a large displacement non-turbo engine. Then, depending on how the buyers respond to this engine, Maruti Suzuki can figure out if it’s worth investing further in the turbo petrol engines. If it does attract more buyers than the normal petrol, then Maruti Suzuki may even consider adding a turbocharger to the 1.2L normal petrol engine, which is currently doing duty in the Swift and Dzire.

2026 Brezza 1.5L Petrol-Manual Variants Price

For the higher variants also, we expect Maruti Suzuki to push the pricing higher to account for the longer feature list, excessive GST rate cuts to remain competitive among 4m SUVs and for inflation. Hence, we arrive at Rs. 9.50 lakh, Rs. 11.0 lakh and Rs. 12.0 lakh for the VXI, ZXI and ZXI Plus variants, respectively.

2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza 1.5L Petrol-Automatic Variants Prcing

For now, Maruti Suzuki have a Rs. 1.35 lakh higher asking price for the torque converter automatic transmission. We expect Maruti Suzuki to either continue with this premium for the 6-speed TC automatic or perhaps add Rs. 5,000 to this cost since there’s no turbo petrol-automatic to compete with this powertrain. Such a move will help them rake in higher profits and cover some of the extra price cuts Maruti Suzuki offered along with the GST rate cuts.

Starting price of well over Rs. 10.0 lakh does price it out of reach of several buyers but so does the most affordable Fronx turbo petrol-automatic and the Venue petrol-automatic. Only when the first-gen Brezza got a facelift in early 2020, it had the VXI automatic with a price tag of under Rs. 10.0 lakh (Rs. 9.75 lakh). The current generation Brezza launched in 2022 with the most affordable automatic variant — VXI — priced at Rs. 10.96 lakh.

For the VXI, ZXI and ZXI Plus variants of the 2026 Brezza automatic, we expect a pricing of Rs. 10.90 lakh, Rs. 12.40 lakh and Rs. 13.40 lakh. The top model costing over Rs. 13.0 lakh helps it establish a halo of being a premium, more expensive product. This strategy allows them to sell the lower variants, which end up carrying a higher perceived value because of the top model pricing.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza 2026 Turbo Petrol Variants Pricing

As established earlier, we expect all 4 turbo petrol variants of the Brezza 2026 to cost Rs. 40,000 less than the variants with the 1.5L normal petrol engine. Hence, the LXI, VXI, ZXI and ZXI Plus variants of the Brezza with the turbo petrol-manual powertrain could cost Rs. 8.10 lakh, Rs. 9.10 lakh, Rs. 10.60 lakh and Rs. 11.60 lakh, respectively. This pricing maintains a premium of about Rs. 1.0 lakh over the Fronx top model. This price gap is enough to maintain the higher positioning of the Brezza in Maruti’s lineup.

2026 Maruti Brezza CNG Variants Pricing

For the CNG variants, Maruti Suzuki have 2 surprises in store. One is that Brezza CNG will get 6-speed manual transmission allowing it to cruise more comfortably. Secondly, the CNG cylinder will move out of the boot to underneath it, thus liberating more cargo volume for the 2026 Brezza CNG variants.

Maruti Suzuki currently offer under-body CNG option with the Victoris for an additional ex-showroom price of Rs. 1.0 lakh. We expect the Brezza to continue with the same pricing strategy. Hence, the LXI, VXI and ZXI CNG variants of the Brezza could cost Rs. 9.50 lakh, Rs. 10.50 lakh and Rs. 12.0 lakh, respectively.
