Nissan Gravite To Launch Tomorrow | V3Cars

Nissan are set to launch the 2026 Gravite MPV in India tomorrow. The Gravite will be Nissan’s second offering in the competitive B2-segment after the Magnite and is expected to serve as an alternative to the Renault Triber, on which it is based.

Here’s a quick look at everything we know about the Gravite ahead of its launch tomorrow:

Nissan Gravite Launch Tomorrow

2026 Nissan Gravite: What To Expect

While it shares its underpinnings with the Triber, the Gravite gets distinct Nissan styling cues. It features a bold mesh-pattern grille, sweptback headlamps with eyebrow-style LED DRLs and a redesigned front bumper with C-shaped elements. At the rear, the Gravite gets a reworked bumper and subtle design tweaks to differentiate it from its Renault sibling.

On the inside, the Gravite features a black-themed cabin with subtle beige inserts on the door pads. The dashboard layout is similar to the Triber, with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system positioned below the front AC vents. It also gets a 3-spoke steering wheel similar to the Triber facelift, albeit with Nissan branding. Like the Triber, the Gravite will be offered with a 3-row seating layout. The 3rd row is foldable and removable, allowing owners to increase boot space when required.

Top feature highlights of the Gravite include:

  • LED projector headlamps with DRLs
  • LED tail lamps
  • 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system
  • Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
  • 7-inch semi-digital instrument cluster
  • 6-speaker audio system
  • Wireless phone charger
  • Cooled glovebox
  • Cruise control
  • Multiple USB charging ports

In terms of safety, Nissan are expected to offer 6 airbags as well as front and rear parking sensors as standard. Higher variants will offer a 360-degree camera, front and rear dash camera, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), hill-start assist, auto headlamps with follow-me-home function and rain-sensing wipers.

2026 Nissan Gravite Powertrain Options

The Gravite will be powered by the same 1L, 3-cylinder normal petrol engine found in the Triber. This engine produces 72PS of power and 96Nm of torque in the Renault MPV. It is offered with a choice of 5-speed manual and 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT). Nissan are unlikely to offer it with a CVT option. However, a dealer-level CNG kit could be introduced, similar to the Magnite.

2026 Nissan Gravite Expected Price & Rivals

The 2026 Nissan Gravite is expected to be priced slightly above the Renault Triber, which is currently priced from Rs. 5.76 lakh to Rs. 8.60 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, it will rival the Renault Triber, Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and the Toyota Rumion.

It could also serve as an alternative to B2-segment hatchbacks and sedans for buyers seeking the flexibility of 3-row seating.
