Tata Motors have launched the 2026 Tiago EV with prices starting at Rs. 7 lakh (ex-showroom). Tata have equipped the updated 2026 Tiago EV with several new comfort, convenience and technology features. From a digital driver’s display to segment-first features, the updated electric hatchback now offers a more premium experience than before.
Here are the top 10 features of the new Tiago EV:
1. 10.24-Inch Touchscreen Infotainment System
The biggest highlight inside the cabin is the new 10.24-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system. It supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, allowing users to connect their smartphones without a cable for navigation, calls and music streaming.
2. 5-Inch Digital Driver’s Display
The 2026 Tiago EV also gets a 5-inch digital instrument display that offers a more modern look compared to the LCD display offered in the 2025 Tiago EV. It displays essential driving information in a cleaner and easier-to-read format.
3. 360-Degree Surround View Camera
To improve parking convenience, Tata have equipped the Tiago EV with a 360-degree camera system. It provides a bird’s-eye view of the surroundings, making it easier to manoeuvre the hatchback in tight spaces.
4. Blind View Monitor
The blind view monitor enhances safety by displaying the vehicle’s blind spot area on the screen while turning. This can help drivers avoid obstacles or vehicles hidden from the ORVMs.
5. Automatic Headlamps With LED Lighting
The Tiago EV comes with automatic headlamps that switch on automatically in low-light conditions. Tata have also added new LED headlamps with LED DRLs that promise to offer a better spread and reach than before.
6. Cruise Control
Cruise control adds convenience during highway drives by maintaining a constant speed without continuous throttle input. This feature is especially useful on long journeys.
7. 6-Way Adjustable Driver’s Seat
The updated Tiago EV offers a 6-way adjustable driver’s seat, allowing users to fine-tune their seating position for improved comfort and driving ergonomics.
8. Front Armrest And Cooled Glovebox
Tata have added comfort-oriented features such as a front centre armrest with storage and a cooled glovebox. These features improve practicality and everyday usability.
9. Rain-Sensing Wipers And Auto Defogger
The Tiago EV gets rain-sensing wipers that activate automatically when rain is detected. It also offers an auto front windshield defogger, which is a fairly uncommon feature in this segment and helps maintain visibility during humid or rainy weather conditions.
10. Rear AC Vents
The fully automatic climate control with rear AC vents improve cabin comfort for rear passengers by ensuring better airflow distribution throughout the cabin, especially during hot weather.

Apart from the features listed above, the Tiago EV also offers:
- Auto-folding ORVMs
- Rear parcel shelf
- Rear wiper and washer
- Electric tailgate release
- 14-inch aero-optimised alloy wheels
With these features, Tata Motors are aiming to position the Tiago EV as a more premium and better-equipped electric hatchback in its segment.
