2026 Tata Tiago, Tiago EV Interiors Revealed – Bigger Screens, New Dashboard & More Features | V3Cars

The Tata Tiago and Tiago EV are set to receive a major update on May 28, 2026. Ahead of their official launch, Tata Motors have now revealed the interiors of the both hatchbacks. While the exterior updates, which were revealed last week, have already made the Tiago lineup look significantly fresher, the cabin updates appear even more comprehensive than the previous facelifts.

2026 Tata Tiago, Tiago EV Interior Revealed Ahead Of Launch

Both the ICE-powered Tiago and the Tiago EV now feature a redesigned dashboard layout, larger digital interfaces and several new convenience features aimed at improving the overall in-cabin experience.

2026 Tata Tiago & Tiago EV Get A Completely Redesigned Dashboard

Unlike a typical mid-life update, Tata have given the Tiago twins a thoroughly revised cabin layout. The older integrated dashboard design has been replaced by a more layered one featuring floating-style displays.

The biggest visual upgrade comes in the form of the new free-standing digital instrument cluster and infotainment touchscreen. While the infotainment unit appears to be the same 10.25-inch unit seen in the Punch facelift, the new digital driver’s display modernises the cabin compared to the dated LCD setup offered earlier.

The revised dashboard also gets slimmer AC vents and a new HVAC control panel. While the 2-spoke steering wheel with illuminated logo is the same unit offered in the Punch facelift, the climate control switchgear is carried over from the older model.

New Centre Console Adds Wireless Charging Pads

Another major update is the redesigned centre console, which now gets gloss black trim and dual wireless charging pads. This feature should improve practicality for front-seat occupants, although the new layout appears to sacrifice some of the open storage space available in the outgoing model.

The updated Tiago and Tiago EV also feature a front centre armrest, new door pads and revised seat upholstery with a dual-tone black-and-grey finish.

Tiago EV Gets EV-Specific Touches

While both hatchbacks share most of their cabin layout and features, the Tata Tiago EV gets a few EV-specific design elements. These include ‘Tata EV’ branding on the steering wheel and a repositioned push-button start switch placed beside the steering column.

The Tiago EV facelift also gets additional practicality features such as rear AC vents and front seatback pockets.

6-Speaker Audio System Likely

The latest teaser images also reveal tweeter housings on the A-pillars along with 4 speaker grilles mounted on the doors. This suggests Tata could offer a 6-speaker audio setup on higher variants of both hatchbacks.

The updated models are also expected to continue offering features such as automatic climate control, cruise control, automatic headlights and rain-sensing wipers.

Rear Seat Experience Still Misses A Few Features

Despite the extensive cabin overhaul, a few omissions remain. The rear seats still do not appear to offer adjustable headrests or a centre armrest, which may disappoint some buyers prioritising rear-seat comfort.
