Here Are 5 Invicto Features That No Other Maruti Suzuki Gets | V3Cars

Maruti Suzuki launched the Invicto MPV yesterday and it currently is the most expensive model in the brand's portfolio. Since the Maruti Suzuki Invicto shares its powertrain, features and underpinnings with the Toyota Innova Hycross, it offers a couple of features that are never seen before in a Maruti Suzuki. In this article, we share 5 features of the Invicto that are a first for any Maruti Suzuki offering in India.

Take a look at the features that are offered for the first time in any Maruti Suzuki model:

1. Multi-Zone Climate Control

It may sound odd but the Invicto is actually not the first Maruti Suzuki to offer dual-zone climate control since the Kizashi offered it back in 2011. However, the Kizashi offered dual-zone climate control for the driver and co-passenger AC whereas the Invicto offers separate zones for first and second row passengers, which is a far better and more usable implementation of this feature.

2. Rear Window Sunshades

The new Invicto is the first Maruti Suzuki to offer rear window sunshades. It offers manually-retractable window sunshades for both rear windows, covering the whole window area and cutting down harsh sunlight and UV rays from entering the cabin.

3. Powered Tailgate

The Invicto is also the first Maruti Suzuki to offer a powered tailgate. You can open the tailgate of the Invicto with just one press of a button and upon closing, you can also choose to directly lock the car as well.

4. 10.1-inch Touchscreen Infotainment System

The new Invicto offers a 10.1-inch infotainment system, which is the largest infotainment screen ever fitted in a Maruti Suzuki. It gets a freestanding layout along with physical controls for volume and audio track skip. Furthermore, while Android Auto uses a wired connection, Apple CarPlay works wirelessly with the infotainment system.

5. Front Parking Sensors

Lastly, the Invicto is also the first Maruti Suzuki to offer front parking sensors. It is worth mentioning that you can accessorise front parking sensors in any Maruti Suzuki offering as an official accessory but the Invicto offers that as a feature straight from the factory.
