7 Features Hyundai Venue N Line Gets But Kia Sonet X Line Doesn’t | V3Cars

The Hyundai Venue is one of the best-selling B2-segment SUVs in the country and its recently launched N Line variant is targeted towards enthusiasts. Kia, on the other hand, recently launched the Sonet X Line with cosmetic updates.

Features Hyundai Venue N Line Gets Over Kia Sonet X Line

In this article, we tell you 7 features that are available with the Venue N Line but missing in the Sonet X Line.

1. N Line Styling

The Venue N Line comes with exclusive sporty styling over the regular Venue. These styling add-ons include a new lower bumper with red inserts, new N Line grille, new alloy wheels with red brake callipers, red inserts on body cladding, N embossing on seats, N steering wheel and N gear shifter.

2. N Line Tuning

Hyundai have also enhanced the driving dynamics of the Venue N Line with some mechanical turning. The updates include 34% stiffer damping force, recalibrated steering with better feedback, rear disc brakes and a sporty exhaust with twin muffler tips. The Sonet X Line, on the other hand, doesn't get any mechanical changes.

3. Power-adjustable Driver Seat

Hyundai Venue comes with a segment-first power-adjustable driver seat. The Sonet, on the other hand, gets a 6-way manually-adjustable driver seat. It is worth mentioning that the electric adjustment in the Venue only works for fore and aft and backrest recline whereas the height adjustment remains a manual job.

4. 60:40 Rear Split Seat

Hyundai Venue comes with a 60:40 rear split seat whereas the Sonet gets a flat folding bench. Additionally, the Venue currently is the only sub-compact SUV in the segment to offer a reclining rear backrest, after the demise of the Ford EcoSport.

5. Cooled Glove Box

The Hyundai Venue comes with a cooled glove box compartment that helps retain the temperature of your drinks and beverages. This feature is sorely missed in the Kia Sonet.

6. Puddle Lamps

The Hyundai Venue comes with puddle lamps that are placed below the ORVMs. Puddle lamps illuminate the surroundings of the car to help you get in and out of the car more easily.

7. Cornering Lamps

The Hyundai Venue also comes with cornering lamps, which are integrated into the headlamp cluster. Cornering lamps light up the path while you make a turn at night, hence increasing overall visibility. This feature is also sorely missed in the Kia Sonet.
