Should You Buy The 2020 Hyundai Creta SX Petrol MT/AT/Turbo?
The Hyundai Creta SX MT costs Rs. 13.46 lakh (ex-showroom) and justifies its asking price considering the features it adds over the S variant. The SX is the most value for money variant in the 2020 Creta petrol lineup and is the most value for money variant with a petrol engine and a manual transmission.
The Creta SX automatic costs Rs. 14.94 lakh. Just like the SX MT, the SX automatic is also a good value for the features it offers. If you want the new Creta with the automatic transmission
Priced at Rs. 16.16 lakh, the SX turbo is for those who want some performance out of their Creta. It’s also priced suitably for the performance gains and features it adds over the SX automatic and is worth considering. It’s certainly a better value than the SX (O) turbo. Tread with caution though, as this is a fairly new turbo petrol engine with direct injection and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. DCTs haven’t fared well in the long run in Indian climate and driving conditions. The turbo petrol engines are also only recently started gaining market share. Definitely get the extended warranty to insure yourself against the niggles sometimes experienced during the ownership of a car with new engine technologies.
