Toyota have updated the Innova Crysta for 2026 with subtle design revisions and a handful of new comfort and convenience features. While the overall package remains familiar, the changes focus on improving the cabin experience and adding a few features that buyers now expect in this segment.
Here are the top 10 features of the 2026 Toyota Innova Crysta:
1. New Copper-Coloured Dashboard Accents
One of the most noticeable updates inside the cabin is the introduction of new copper-coloured trim accents. These replace the silver accents offered earlier and are complemented by refreshed faux wood inserts on the dashboard. The new trim gives the cabin a warmer and slightly more premium appearance without altering the overall dashboard design.
2. New Dual-Tone Brown And Black Upholstery
Toyota have also introduced a new dual-tone brown and black upholstery theme for the top-spec ZX variant. Compared to the monotone brown seat upholstery offered previously, the new combination adds more visual contrast and helps the cabin feel richer and more upmarket.
3. Wireless Smartphone Charger
The 2026 Innova Crysta now offers a wireless charging pad in the front centre console. Available in the VX and ZX variants, this feature allows compatible smartphones to be charged without needing a cable and addresses one of the notable omissions in the previous model.
4. Foldable Seatback Tables With Cup Holders
Rear-seat passengers in the VX and ZX variants benefit from foldable seatback tables integrated into the front seatbacks. These tables can be useful for holding snacks, mobile devices or small work items during long journeys and also incorporate cup holders for added convenience.
5. Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
The top ZX variant now gets a tyre pressure monitoring system. TPMS helps drivers keep track of tyre health by warning them when tyre pressure drops below the recommended level, improving both safety and fuel efficiency.
6. 8-Way Power Adjustable Driver Seat
Another convenience feature exclusive to the ZX variant is the 8-way power-adjustable driver's seat. The electrically adjustable seat allows drivers to find their preferred driving position more easily and adds a touch of luxury to the cabin.
7. Upper Glovebox With Cooling Function
The Innova Crysta continues to offer a cooled upper glovebox. This feature can help keep beverages cool during long trips and remains a practical addition for Indian weather conditions.
8. 7 Airbags Including Driver Knee Airbag
Safety remains one of the Innova Crysta's strong points. The VX and ZX variants offer 7 airbags, including a driver knee airbag. This additional airbag helps reduce lower-body injuries in the event of a frontal collision.
9. Boss Mode Function
The Innova Crysta also offers a boss mode function for the second-row passenger. Using controls positioned within reach of rear occupants, the front passenger seat can be slid forward to maximise rear-seat legroom. This feature is particularly useful when the MPV is chauffeur-driven.
10. Ambient Lighting
Toyota offer ambient lighting to enhance the cabin experience during night-time driving. While the system is limited to a single blue colour, it helps create a more premium atmosphere inside the cabin.
