In this August 2023 Mahindra car sales analysis, we’ll look at the car sales of Mahindra for the previous month. We’ll also compare the YoY and MoM change to find out which Mahindra cars’ sales improved and which ones declined. Lastly, the table with monthly sales for the last 6 months will give you an idea about the 6-month sales trend of all Mahindra cars.
August 2023 - Mahindra Car Sales Figures - YoY Change
- The Scorpio pair were the best-selling cars in the month of August. 9,898 units of the pair were sold.
- The Bolero pair was also a close second with 9,092 units dispatched in August 2023.
- Thar reported the best YoY gains of about 57% in August 2023.
- The Scorpios reported about 40% growth in YoY comparison analysis.
- Mahindra launched its first and only electric car, the XUV400 in the past year and reported 778 units dispatched in the month of August.
- There were no losers for Mahindra in August YoY comparison analysis.
- Alturas G4 was discontinued by the carmaker. Besides that, E-Verito has been reporting zero dispatches for three consecutive months and August has been discontinued by the carmaker.
- Going by its dispatch numbers, Marazzo could be next in line for discontinuation by the carmaker with just 47 units dispatched in August 2023.

August 2023 - Mahindra Car Sales Figures - MoM Change
- Most Mahindra cars reported MoM growth in August compared to July 2023, with an exception of Marazzo and Scorpio pair.
- .Marazzo reported a decline of 42% and Scorpio pair reported a decline of 6% in August over July.
- Amongst the gainers, the Thar saw the biggest growth of 13%, followed by the XUV700 with a 5.44% MoM growth in August over July.
- Bolero pair reported a growth figure of 2% in MoM comparison.
- Bolero pair reported a growth of 2.71%.
