    BMW 330i GT M Sport Launched At INR 49.4 Lakh

    BMW India has launched the 330i GT M Sport at Rs 49.4 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) expanding the variant list of its Gran Turismo (GT) lineup. Now available with one diesel- and two petrol-powered versions, this is the third variant in the BMW GT lineup. Assembled locally at BMW's Chennai facility, the BMW 330i GT M Sport is now available with two exterior colors Alpine White (non-metallic) and Estoril Blue (metallic) and can be ordered from all authorized BMW dealers across the country.

    Speaking at the launch, Vikram Pawah, President, BMW Group India said, “The new BMW 330i Gran Turismo M Sport with a perfect blend of sporting character, impressive performance and appealing design makes every journey an unforgettable experience.”

    Powering the newly launched BMW 330i Gran Turismo M Sport is the same 2.0-litre petrol engine that empowers the 330i GT line up producing 248.55 bhp of power and 350Nm of peak torque. While the power is transmitted to the rear wheels, the transmission duty is carried by an 8-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle reaches the sprint of 0-100kmph in just 6.1 seconds and returns the fuell efficiency of 15.34kmpl. Looking at the performance figures, we can easily say that the newly launched Sport variant of the BMW 330i GT is identical to the existing variants.

     

    The M aerodynamic package, 18-inch M star spoke alloy wheels, M badging on the side panels at the front, gloss black kidney grille and M badge door sill plates are the offerings at the exterior while the M Sport upholstery, sport seats for driver and passenger, BMW headliner in Anthracite and, the most important - multifunction M leather steering wheel and the heads-up display along with the M strip on the key are the interior features. Also on offer is an 8.7-inch infotainment display which runs software like BMW ConnectedDrive, BMW iDrive, BMW Navigation system Professional with touch functionality 3D maps, BMW Apps, Park Distance Control (PDC) and connectivity through Bluetooth and USB/AUX IN.

     

    Talking about the safety features, the 330i GT M Sport comes loaded with a number of advanced safety features such as six airbags, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with brake assist, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) including Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Cornering Brake Control (CBC), Side-impact Protection, ISOFIX child seat mounts, Run-flat tyres with reinforced sidewalls, emergency spare wheel, electronic vehicle immobiliser and crash sensor.

    While the luxury vehicle is available with two exterior color options, the interior color options include Leather Dakota Veneto Beige with Oyster dark highlight or Veneto Beige and Leather Dakota Cognac with Brown highlight or all-black leather interior. Hence, like the moniker it carries ‘M Sport’ the features and badging definitely makes it a sporty affair for the buyers at only Rs 80,000 more than the Luxury Line variant.
