2022 BMW X4 Facelift Launched In India - Prices Start From Rs. 70.50 Lakh | V3Cars

Revealed last year, BMW India have launched the 2022 X4 facelift in the Indian market. BMW are offering two drivetrain options with the X4 facelift – xDrive30i at Rs. 70.50 lakh and xDrive30d at Rs. 72.50 lakh, ex-showroom. With the facelift, the BMW X4 is also available in an exclusive Black Shadow edition in limited numbers.

2022 BMW X4 Facelift

The 2022 BMW X4 facelift features a refreshed design and more features than before. At the front, the X4 facelift gets a connected kidney grille, flanked by adaptive LED headlights that are now 10mm slimmer than before. The X4 facelift for India comes with the M Sport kit as standard. The M Sport kit for the X4 facelift includes sporty bumpers, M Sport alloy wheels, red brake callipers, and gloss black inlays.

2022 BMW X4 facelift offers these notable features:

  • 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment
  • Wireless Apple CarPlay
  • 12.3-inch LCD instrument cluster
  • Automatic and adaptive LED headlights
  • Rain-sensing wipers
  • Three-zone climate control
  • Electric tailgate
  • Head-up display
  • Harman Kardon sound system
  • Adaptive dampers
  • Drive modes

With the addition of the new features, the dashboard layout is now in line with modern BMW models. The key changes include restyled AC vents and controls, an integrated console for the gear lever, drive modes, and engine start/stop control. The X4 facelift even gets new, sportier trim pieces. Like the X3, the X4 also gets two engine options.

2022 BMW X4

Speaking of powertrain options, the X4 facelift gets the same 2.0L turbo petrol engine from the X3. It produces 252PS of power at 5200rpm and 350Nm of torque between 1450rpm-4800rpm. The X4 facelift is also available with a 3.0L inline-6 turbo-diesel engine whereas the X3 only gets a 2.0L unit. The 3.0L diesel of the X4 produces 265PS of power at 4000rpm and 620Nm of torque between 2000rpm-2500rpm. Both engines come with an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission as standard.

The BMW X4 facelift rivals the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe and Range Rover Evoque in India. The extra premium over the X3 gets you a tapering roofline and M Sport package. BMW also offer multiple maintenance and warranty packages with the X4, bringing the running cost down to Rs. 1.52 per kilometre.
