BYD Atto 3 Launched In India At Rs. 33.99 Lakh | V3Cars

BYD Auto India have launched the Atto 3 at Rs. 33.99 lakh ex-showroom. Since it was unveiled in India, the Atto 3 has received 1,500 bookings. The BYD Atto 3 goes up against the likes of the MG ZS EV, Tata Nexon EV Max and the upcoming Mahindra XUV400.

The India-bound BYD Atto 3 electric crossover comes with a 60.48kWh battery pack, which gives it an ARAI-certified range of 521km on a single charge. The Atto 3 is the only electric crossover in the C-segment to offer advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) with features such as auto emergency braking, blind spot detection, lane keeping assist, rear cross traffic and adaptive cruise control.

Like most other EVs in the segment, the Atto 3 offers a warranty of 8 years or 1.6 lakh km, whichever is earlier, for the battery. Furthermore, the motor and motor controller come with an 8-year/1.5 lakh km warranty whereas the vehicle comes with a 6-year/1.5 lakh km warranty.

The BYD Atto 3 gets the segment-largest 60.48kWh battery pack. Additionally, the Atto 3 offers 203PS of power and 310Nm of torque, which are class leading. It is worth noting that the XUV400 also offers 310Nm of torque and is likely to come at a far lower price tag. BYD are yet to reveal the charging time and charging options for the Atto 3.

BYD Atto 3 is currently the most-expensive EV in its class. It’s rivals include the Tata Nexon EV Max, MG ZS EV, Hyundai Kona EV and the upcoming Mahindra XUV400. However, as you have seen the story earlier, it offers class-leading dimensions, features and performance along with an impressive claimed driving range.
