Confirmed: Toyota Glanza To Be Launched On June 6, 2019
Toyota Kirloskars first identification designed vehicle for the Indian market – the Glanza premium hatchback – will be propelled in India amid June. Un-disguised Spyshots of the vehicle have surfaced, and from the spilled pictures, unmistakably the Glanza has negligible changes contrasted with the Maruti Baleno. Putting aside the front grille and the Toyota badge supplanting the Suzuki identification, the Glanza is an accurate imitation of the Maruti Baleno. Similarly, it is the same for the back of the vehicle, whose just changes are the Toyota badging and the variation identification. The spy shots show that the Glanza would be sold in a V trim, which is probably going to contrast and the top-end Alpha trim of the Baleno.
Commenting on the vehicle, RC Bhargava, Chairman, Maruti Suzuki said, “We will show the cars sold to Toyota as a wholesale number and will report that accordingly in our monthly sales.” He said that till the time reporting of numbers to SIAM is in wholesale numbers, we will report the number of cars supplied to TKM as Maruti’s wholesale number.”
Also sharing his views, N Raja, Deputy Managing Director of Toyota Kirloskar Motors, said: “Maruti cannot count the Glanza sales as wholesale numbers because we will do that … it will be billed to dealers and then to the customers. We will report them as wholesale numbers every month.”
