Deliveries For The Lexus NX 300h Commence In India

The luxury brand of Toyota, Lexus has commenced the deliveries for the newly launched NX 300h in the country. The premium hybrid SUV was launched four months back in December 2017 and is available in two variants – Luxury and F-sport priced at Rs 53.18 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 55.58 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. The deliveries have commenced in the country marking the one year completion of the services of the company in India.
Speaking on the occasion, P B Venugopal, President, Lexus India, said, "At Lexus, our human-centered approach is evident in the way our cars are engineered, the craftsmanship they embody and in the ownership experience which begins the moment they engage with us or step into any of our guest experience centers. In India, we felt there was no better way to mark this significant milestone than by keeping our guests as our focus."
Further commenting on the completion of company’s one year service in India, He said "As we enter our second year in India, we look forward to new ways to deliver on the promise of 'experience amazing' so we can continue to delight our guests here by delivering the exceptional hospitality that is 'omotenashi' - the anchor of the Lexus brand."
Talking about the powertrain options, the Lexus NX 300h hybrid SUV comes with a 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine paired with an electric motor that churns out a combined power output of 194 bhp mated to a CVT unit. Also, the SUV is capable to run on pure electric or petrol or a combination of both depending on the choice of the driver.
The newly launched Lexus NX 300h come with sharp and futuristic styling like all Lexus cars including the signature Lexus grille and the logo that comes with a blue backlight to signify its hybrid powertrain along with LED headlamps and independent LED DRLs below them, wheel arches with plastic cladding on the side along with the side skirts and roof rails while it gets the LED tail lamps get sharp wraparound, roof-mounted spoiler and rear diffuser at the rear.
;At the interior, the 2018 hybrid SUV offers seats reclining at the push of a button, the rear passengers have the option of converting the seats in to a full-fledged bed, leather upholstery with a smart touch, while the panoramic glass roof, wireless charging, heads-up display, and a 10.3-inch multi-information touchscreen system as the highlights.
Currently, Lexus is preparing to set its foot print in the country with new offerings for the auto enthusiasts. The brand currently sells the ES300h, RX450h and LX450d in India and is focusing to take on other premium OEMs in the country. The automaker will be revealing the India- bound Lexus ES 300h at the upcoming 2018 Beijing Motor Show on 25th April 2018.
