MPV Segment February 2023 Car Sales - YoY Change
- Renault Triber emerged as the top gaining car among high-volume cars with a 27.5% YoY increase in February 2023
- The Maruti Suzuki Eeco was the top selling car in the category with over 12,000 units sold in February and reported around 23% YoY gains in February 2023
- Carens from Kia also reported similar growth as Eeco
- Sales of Ertiga have nearly halved over the past year since February 2022 and it became the top losing car in the category
- XL6 was the second biggest loser in the category with 36% drop in YoY comparison
- The Innova witnessed a YoY sales drop of 3.45%

MPV Segment February 2023 Car Sales - MoM Change
- Among MPVs, the Maruti Suzuki Eeco and Ertiga were the top 2 sellers in February
- The Ertiga sold nearly 10,000 units in January, but barely made over 6,400 units in February, reporting a loss of 33.62%, which made Ertiga the top losing mass-market car in MoM comparison
- On the other hand, Eeco, which sold 11,709 units in January, sold 11,352 units in February, which is a drop of 3%, can be considered to be stable
- Innova dispatches increased in February, by over 192%, and it became the top gainer for February
- Second on the list of gainers was Renault Triber with 70% increment in dispatches in February
- Amongst the low-volume cars, Toyota Vellfire topped the list with 172% growth in sales in February over January, which was followed by Mahindra Marazzo with 4.27% growth, whereas Kia Carnival reported a 50% decrease in numbers
