Ford in its attempt at strengthening its position in the Indian automobile market is taking certain customer-centric steps- not only are they making the servicing process absolutely transparent, they are also taking measures to make prices more and more competitive. Ford has introduced conveniences like Quick Service Support, Mobile Service Vans, Vehicle report card, Roadside Assistance and service facilities in 209 cities across India. Ford India is expanding its footprint in India; with the recent inauguration of Eureka Ford sales and service facility in Chennai, Ford Network now operates 376 facilities across India.
Its great news for Ford lovers as company is pushing more towards building trust and transparency to all its customers. They have recently introduced the Service Price Promise. On the Ford website, customers can now calculate service as well as parts price with the help of a calculator. This move would allow the customer to know the cost they would incur due to periodic maintenance or parts before taking their cars for service at a Ford dealership. Not just this, customers can also take a print of the web quote and rest assured that they would get the service at the quoted price at the Ford dealership.
With such strong steps in place, Ford is likely to get good response from the market on introducing new vehicles. Ford Ecosport facelift version is due this year and is likely to launch in next quarter. Some of the other cars that is going to hit the market are the Ford Kuga and Ford Montego. This would cater to people with different budgets and requirements.
