    Ford reveals the Focus RS and ST concepts prior to 2017 SEMA

    American auto major will be showcasing a range of 50 vehicle models at its stall at the 2017 SEMA show. Among this massive Ford range to be showcased at the event, four race car concepts will be based on the Ford Focus RS and ST. Ford has revealed the Focus RS and ST racing concepts prior to their first public unveiling at this year’s SEMA.

    American auto major will be showcasing a range of 50 vehicle models at its stall at the 2017 SEMA show. Among this massive Ford range to be showcased at the event, four race car concepts will be based on the Ford Focus RS and ST. Ford has revealed the Focus RS and ST racing concepts prior to their first public unveiling at this year’s SEMA.

    The first among these models is the Rally Revival Ford Focus RS, which seems to have been created to take on dirt-track racing. The awesome looking rally inspired sporty car flaunts attractive to its vinyl graphics pack and white 19 inch OZ Racing Superturismo GT wheels.

     

    Ford has worked to increase the car’s performance by endowing it with an upgraded intercooler, an all-new high flow induction kit, a short-throw shifter and a performance exhaust system.

    The Rally Revival Ford Focus RS gets 235/35 Nitto NT01 tyres and a new RS-R coil-over suspension system, which enhances its ride and handling. The car’s other rally inspired exterior styling updates include bonnet vents, a new rear wing and diffuser, and aluminium splitters.

    The sporty car’s cabin has been modified as well, the rear seats of the car have been removed and instead Ford has employed a four-point roll cage, and Sparco EVO front seats for proper race car appeal.

     

    Second in line, is the Ford Focus RS TriAthlete, which offers even more fascinating visual appeal with a matte black exterior body paint that is partly covered with attractive airbrushed art. The car gets mechanical upgrades under its hood as well, which includes a Kompact dual port blow-off valve that is claimed to be decreasing turbo lag of the vehicle.

    The Focus RS TriAthlete rides on 19 inch Forgestar CF5 Deep Concave wheels that are wrapped in 265/35 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres. The car’s performance gets a further boost with the inclusion of an Air Lift performance suspension system.

     

    The third model is the Tjin Edition Ford Focus RS, which grabs eyeballs with its Axalta Pennzoil paint job and premium carbon-fibre body parts which also increase the car’s aerodynamic abilities apart from fab looks.

    The car gets braced with Baer Brakes with 6-piston calipers for precise braking power. The Tjin Edition model flaunts BC Racing coilovers and 19 inch Rotiform alloys that are wrapped in 245/35 Falken FK150 tyres,.

    The Tjin edition’s performance boost comes from the new FullRace intercooler and intake, short-throw gearbox and Ford Performance exhaust system.

     

    Last but not the least, is the bold head turner Ford Focus ST by Blood Type Racing, which enthralls with its Midnight Purple body paint, while its bold looks are courtesy the flared wheel arches and the new Rally Innovations rear wing.

    The Blood Type Racing car gets 19 inch B-Forged Performance 768SL alloys and 245/35 Toyo Tires T1 Sports tyres. Mechanical upgrades include an Air lift suspension setup and a Wilwood braking kit.

    Performance and power enhancement of the car comes from a Borg Warner EFI 7163 turbocharger, a new intercooler, radiator, short-throw transmission and performance exhaust.

    The car’s cabin boasts of a pair of Sabelt GT621L carbon-fibre racing seats with four-point safety harnesses and a customized drone storage compartment at the rear.
