Hyundai Stop Taking Orders For Creta SX, Venue S(O) And SX(O) | V3Cars
Hyundai India have asked their dealers not to accept orders for the Creta SX petrol AT, SX Diesel AT, Venue Petrol S(O) ACMT, SX(O) ACMT and SX(O) diesel. Hyundai India have requested the dealers to recommend other variants to customers as per availability of stock.

Hyundai India are not able to deliver the aforementioned variants of both SUVs. While the reason behind the shortage is not known, we can assume it is due to the global shortage of semiconductors. The aforementioned variants account for a good chunk of sales of both SUVs. There is no word as to when the orders for these variants will resume again.

The Hyundai Venue, too, comes with three powertrain options — 1.2L normal petrol with 83PS of power and 113Nm of torque, 1.5L turbo diesel with 100PS of power and 240Nm of torque, and a 1.0L turbo petrol with 120PS of power and 172Nm of torque. The 1.2L petrol comes with a 5-speed manual and the 1.0L turbo petrol gets a 6-speed manual, 6-speed ACMT and 7-speed DC options. The 1.5L turbo diesel, on the other hand, gets a 6-speed manual transmission. We expect Hyundai India to offer a diesel automatic option along with a host of changes in the 2022 Venue facelift.
