Hyundai have expanded the Creta Electric variant lineup by introducing 3 new variants, improved driving range, and additional features to strengthen their position in the fast-growing EV market. The additions – Excellence (42 kWh), Executive Tech (42 kWh), and Executive (O) (51.4 kWh) – cater to different buyer profiles, making Hyundai’s most popular SUV in electric form more versatile and accessible.

Hyundai Creta Electric 2025 Now Gets 3 New Variants, Improved Range

Hyundai Creta Electric Driving Range Extended

With this update, the Creta Electric now delivers 510km (51.4 kWh pack) and 420km (42 kWh pack) on a single charge, which is an improvement of 30km and 37km, respectively. Both battery options are paired with a single front-mounted motor, producing 135PS of power and 200Nm (42 kWh) and 171PS and 200Nm (51.4 kWh).

2025 Creta Electric: What’s New?

  • Creta Electric Excellence (42 kWh): Previously reserved for the larger battery, the top Excellence trim is now available with the 42kWh pack. It packs Level-2 ADAS, dashcam, 360° camera, ventilated seats, eco-leather upholstery, rain-sensing wipers, and powered seats with memory and walk-in functions.
  • Creta Electric Executive Tech (42 kWh): A new mid-tier option with voice-enabled panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, leather upholstery, rear sunshade, and wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay. It bridges affordability with premium features.
  • Creta Electric Executive (O) (51.4 kWh): The most affordable way to access the bigger 51.4 kWh battery. Comes with voice-enabled panoramic sunroof and wireless connectivity, making the long-range version more attainable.

Standardised Features Across Variants

Hyundai have made wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay standard across all variants. It’s worth noting that the addition of wireless connectivity options is with the aid of an adapter and not an updated infotainment system. Higher variants also gain a rear wireless charger and dashcam.

Complementing the refreshed line-up, Hyundai has added 2 new shades: matte black and grey.
