Hyundai Creta EV Spied In South Korea Ahead Of 2025 Launch | V3Cars

It’s no secret that Hyundai are developing an all-electric version of the 2024 Creta. Like Tata and MG, Hyundai plan to capture a large chunk of EV sales in India with an electric SUV and are likely to launch the Creta EV in 2025. While the Creta EV was spied in India before, that test mule was based on the pre-facelift Creta SUV. While the latest Creta EV spy shots show the SUV covered in camouflage, it reveals new design details like the connected LED DRLs, aero-optimised alloy wheels and more. Take a look.

2025 Hyundai Creta EV Design Details

The 2025 Creta EV will feature the same design as the Creta facelift, which was launched in India in January 2024. Up front, the Creta electric will feature a closed front grille and a slightly revised front bumper with repositioned Hyundai logo. The charging port is mounted on the front fender of the SUV and the side profile also reveals the 17-inch aero-optimised alloy wheel covers. The rest of the Creta EV looks identical to the 2024 Creta facelift.

Expected Features Of 2025 Hyundai Creta EV

In terms of features, we expect the 2025 Creta EV to offer the dual 10.25-inch screens seen in the Creta 2024. It could also utilise a lighter cabin theme and retain standout features of the Creta ICE, such as the front ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charger, and dual-zone climate control.

As for safety, the 2025 Hyundai Creta EV is likely to offer advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) features like adaptive cruise control, blindspot detection, lane keeping assist, and more. Considering Hyundai’s push for improving safety in cars lately, we could even expect the Creta EV to offer 6 airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), and a 360-degree surround view monitor as standard.

Expected Powertrain Specs Of 2025 Creta EV

While Hyundai are yet to reveal the exact battery and electric motor specifications of the Creta EV, we expect the SUV to come packed with a 50-70kWh battery pack with the option of a single or dual-motor setup. Expect the Creta EV to produce between 150PS - 200PS of power and a claimed driving range of over 400km. When launched, the Hyundai Creta EV will take on the upcoming Tata Curvv EV, Tata Harrier EV and the MG ZS EV, among others. We expect the Hyundai Creta EV to roll out before the Kia Seltos EV, while both could offer similar features and performance.
