Considering Hyundai’s production process, this should give you some idea of how long you may have to wait to take delivery of the Exter. While these are primarily applicable for the northern region, the Exter waiting period mentioned here should more or less align for the rest of the country as well.

At 1 - 2 weeks, the petrol-manual and CNG-manual variants of the Exter command the shortest waiting period among the Exter’s 3 powertrain options. The Exter petrol-automatic variants have a waiting period stretching between 2 - 4 weeks.

The Hyundai Exter is priced between Rs. 6.13 lakh to Rs. 10.28 lakh (ex-showroom). It gets 2 engine options – a 1.2L normal petrol and 1.2L CNG bi-fuel. The normal petrol engine is offered with 2 transmission options – a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT. The CNG engine is only available with a 5-speed manual.

The 2024 Exter rivals the Tata Punch and Citroen C3, among other small SUVs in the B1 segment.
