Hyundai, the South Korean automotive manufacturer, has announced the prices of the dual-tone version of the Grand i10, which was showcased last month at the Auto Expo 2018 in India. Following the footsteps of its elder sibling, the Hyundai Elite i20, the dual-tone Grand i10 also commands a premium of approximately Rs 25,000 over the monotone variant of the same.
Based on the Grand i10 Sportz, the prices for the HYUNDAI GRAND i10’s petrol and diesel variants of the Sportz version are Rs 5.99 lakh and Rs 7.02 lakh respectively. The prices of the Dual-tone Sportz are Rs 6.24 lakh for the petrol variant and Rs 7.23 lakh for the diesel variant. The dual-tone variant of Grand i10 Sportz is priced at around Rs 25,000 more than the Sportz variant as it is better equipped since it gets leather-wrapped steering wheel, ABS, alloy wheels over the Sportz variant.
The Hyundai Grand i10 dual-tone gets an all-black dashboard instead of the beige one which is seen on the regular Sportz variant just like the dual-tone Elite i20 facelift. Red contrast stitching has been featured on the new fabric upholstery. Red highlights are also evident on the gear shift knob and the leather-wrapped steering wheel. It also features Hyundai’s 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, supporting both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The new gets the 14-inch alloy wheels with a dark gunmetal finish. Rest all the features of the Sportz variant have been carried over.
With the launch of the dual-tone Sportz variant, the Korean automaker has made some changes to the equipment list of the Hyundai Grand i10’s variants. The Grand i10’s Sportz variant now gets the same equipment list as the foregoing Grand i10 Sportz (O). Quoting the prices at Rs 5.99 lakh and Rs 6.98 lakh for the petrol and diesel manual respectively, the prices of the Grand i10 Sportz are almost the same as the prices of the erstwhile Grand i10 Sportz (O).
