Hyundai has showcased its Kona all-electric SUV at the Auto Expo 2020. It is priced at Rs. 23.86 lakh (ex-showroom). The dual-tone colour option of the Kona would cost you an additional premium of Rs. 19,000.

The Hyundai Kona EV comes powered by an electric motor that generates 136PS of power and 395Nm of torque. The electric powertrain comes equipped with a single-speed transmission only, so there’s no clutch pedal and gear shifting required in the Kona.

The electric motor of the Kona draws its juice from a 39.2kWh battery pack. The Kona electric SUV offers a claimed travel range of 452km on a fully charged battery. The battery can be charged up to 80% in just 57 minutes with a DC quick charger. This charging port is available at most Hyundai customer touchpoints in select cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai for the time being.
