In this Q4 2022 Hyundai quarterly cars sales analysis article, we’ll look at the car sales of Hyundai for the previous year. We’ll also compare the YoY and QoQ change to find out which Hyundai cars’ sales improved and which ones declined.

Q4 2022 - Hyundai Quarterly Car Sales Figures - YoY Change
- The Creta is a consistent top performer for Hyundai, with over 35,000 units sold in Q4 2022. However, in Q4 of 2021, the Venue was the top selling car for Hyundai, with almost 29,000 units dispatched compared to just over 24,000 units of Creta
- The Venue was the only loser in YoY comparison for Q4, with a 0.83% decline in YoY comparison
- The 2 others losers for Hyundai were the Elantra D-segment sedan and Santro A-segment hatchback, which were discontinued by Hyundai
- Among the gainers, on the other hand, low volume cars like the Kona EV and Tucson premium SUV saw a massive growths in Q4 YoY comparison – 1000%+ and 185%, respectively
- For mass-market cars, the Xcent/Aura pair was the top gainer for Hyundai, with 75% YoY growth, followed by i20, with 65% growth

Q4 2022 - Hyundai Quarterly Car Sales Figures - QoQ Change
- Most Hyundai cars saw a decline in dispatches in Q4 over Q3
- The only exceptions were the Kona EV and Verna C-segment sedan, with 20.22% and 9.21% QoQ growth, respectively
- The Tucson was the top losing car from Hyundai’s stable in quarterly comparison, with a 20% decline in numbers
- Speaking of high volume cars from Hyundai, the Venue was the top loser, with a 16.5% decline in Q4 over Q3
