MPV Segment January 2023 Car Sales - YoY Change
- The Kia Carens emerged as the top gaining car among high-volume cars with a 1274% YoY increase in January 2023
- Kia sold over 1,000 units of the Carnival in January 2023 for 181% growth in sales in our January YoY sales comparison
- The Innova witnessed a YoY sales drop of 41%, followed by the Renault Triber with a 34% drop in January 2023
- The Maruti Suzuki Eeco was the top selling car in the category with almost 12,000 units sold in January, recording a growth of 11% in January YoY sales comparison

MPV Segment January 2023 Car Sales - MoM Change
- Among MPVs, the Maruti Suzuki Eeco and Ertiga were the top 2 sellers in January
- The Ertiga sold over 12,000 units in December, but barely made over 9,700 units in January, reporting a loss of 20.56%
- On the other hand, Eeco, which sold 10,581 units in December, sold 11,709 in January, which is a growth of 10.66%
- Innova dispatches increased in January, by over 3864%, and it became the top gainer for January.
- Second on the list of gainers was Kia Carnival with 1040% increment in dispatches in January
- Amongst the MoM losers, Toyota Vellfire topped the list with 45% decline in sales in January over December, which was followed by Maruti XL6 with 23.25% decline
