Jeep Launch Trail Edition Of 2025 Compass & Meridian | V3Cars
Jeep India have unveiled the new Trail Editions of the Compass and Meridian. These special variants aim to inject fresh appeal into the lineup with distinctive styling, off-road inspired detailing, and an exclusive ‘Jeep Trust’ ownership program. This launch comes at a crucial time for Jeep in India, as the brand navigates declining sales and a strategic decision to not bring the next-generation Compass to the Indian market.

For a brand that once saw monthly sales of the Compass exceeding 1,500-2,000 units in its peak years (2017-2018), recent months have seen figures hover around a modest 130 to 170 units. With the cancellation of the next-gen Compass due to concerns regarding the cost of the new platform, and the discontinuation of the petrol engine option for the current Compass, these special edition models appear to be a key strategy to extend the lifecycle of the existing lineup.
Jeep Compass Trail Edition: What Does It Offer?
Based on the Compass Longitude (O) variant, the Jeep Compass Trail Edition distinguishes itself with a host of cosmetic enhancements. The exterior features unique Trail Edition bonnet decals, complemented by matte black grille accents. Components such as the grille rings, lower window trim, roof rails and ORVM covers get a grey finish. A striking red-accented front lower bumper adds a sporty touch, while the tailgate gets a Trail badge. The rugged aesthetic is completed with 18-inch black alloy wheels.
Inside, the Compass Trail Edition receives sporty upgrades. It boasts black leatherette upholstery with vibrant red elements on the dashboard and red contrast stitching on the steering wheel, gear boot, and seat upholstery. It even comes with Trail Edition-branded all-weather floor mats that enhance practicality.

Jeep Meridian Trail Edition: What Does It Offer?
The Jeep Meridian Trail Edition is based on the Limited (O) variant of the SUV. Its exterior features a bonnet decal, Trail Edition badging, and a high-gloss black roof that enhances its silhouette. Grey accents are applied to the grille, headlamp surrounds, roof rail inserts, badges, and side cladding. Additional Piano Black accents on fog lamp surrounds, ORVMs, and rear lower fascia, along with red front fascia highlights, complete its rugged yet sophisticated look.
The Meridian Trail Edition boasts a black leatherette interior with red accents, a piano black centre console, and matching speaker surrounds. Rugged skid plates, Trail-themed scuff plates, and blacked-out ORVMs further enhance its adventurous appeal.

The 4x4 variant of the Meridian Trail Edition is only available with the automatic transmission.
