Kia Launch K-Charge EV Ecosystem & EV-Ready Workshops For 2025 Carens Clavis EV | V3Cars
Kia India have announced an integrated EV ecosystem for customers of the upcoming 2025 Carens Clavis EV, which is set to launch on July 15. Kia’s latest initiative aims to make EV ownership seamless, convenient, and practical for Kia customers nationwide.

K-Charge Platform: Seamless Access to 11,000+ Charging Points
Kia India have introduced the K-Charge platform integrated within the MyKia app to address key concerns associated with EV ownership . The K-Charge platform offers access to a a network of over 11,000 charging points across India, established through collaborations with 18 Charge Point Operators (CPOs). This extensive network covers both urban areas and major highway routes, supporting both daily commutes and long-distance travel.
To complement K-Charge, Kia have also introduced an ‘EV Route Planner’, which is accessible via the Kia website and the MyKia App. It lets customers locate charging stations, view real-time slot availability, and make payments directly through the app. This integrated approach aims to simplify the EV charging experience, eliminating the need for multiple 3rd-party applications. Kia India also plan to expand K-Charge access to over 20,000 charging points by mid-2026.
Kia Establish EV-Ready Service Network
Further strengthening their EV ecosystem, Kia have established a dedicated network of over 250 EV-ready Kia workshops across India. These workshops are equipped with specialised tools, necessary equipment, and a team of trained EV technicians.
In terms of charging infrastructure at dealerships, more than 100 Kia dealerships are already equipped with DC Fast Chargers, offering capacities ranging from 60kW to 240kW. This ensures that customers can quickly charge their vehicles during routine visits or when in need of a rapid top-up.
Mr. Joonsu Cho, Chief Sales Officer, Kia India, commented on the announcement:
Our focus has always been on delivering innovation that makes a real difference. With our comprehensive EV ecosystem now in place, we are empowering customers to experience electric mobility with ease and confidence. This strong foundation allows us to support the next wave of EV adoption across the country, making electric driving practical, reliable, and accessible for all. We are confident that this will not only enhance the ownership journey but also strengthen our leadership in the fast-changing mobility space.
