As reported exclusively by V3Cars earlier in January 2025, Kia India have launched the Seltos 2025 at a starting price of Rs. 11.13 lakh. Kia India have added 3 new variants – HTE (O), HTK (O) and HTK Plus (O) – to the Seltos range. In this article, we’ll go through all the changes Kia have made to the 2025 Seltos.

2025 Kia Seltos Gets A New Base Variant

The new HTE (O) variant is now the base variant of the Seltos 2025. In addition to the features of the Seltos HTE, the new HTE (O) variant offers the following features:

8-inch touchscreen
Bluetooth connectivity
Wireless Android Auto
Wireless Apple Carplay
4x speakers
2x tweeters
Steering-mounted controls
Rear camera
Connected tail lamps
LED DRL/position lights
Auto headlamps

Feature Highlights Of New HTK (O) Variant

The Seltos 2025 now gets a new HTK (O) variant that sits above the HTK trim. In addition to the HTK’s features, the Seltos HTK (O) gets the following features:

Panoramic sunroof
16-inch alloy wheels
Roof rails
Rear washer wiper
Rear defoggoer

The inclusion of panoramic sunroof in this variant makes it the most affordable car in its segment with this feature.

Feature Highlights Of New HTK Plus (O) Variant

The HTK Plus (O) variant gets the following additional features over the HTK Plus:

Electronic parking brake (with CVT only)
LED headlamps
Sweeping indicators
17-inch alloy wheels
Rear parcel tray
LED fog lamps

The Seltos turbo petrol with the auto-clutch manual transmission (or ICMT in Kia speak) is only available in a single variant – HTK Plus – which is priced at Rs. 15.78 lakh (ex-showroom). The Seltos turbo petrol with the 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT) is available in 3 variants, including the top X-Line, which are priced from Rs. 20 lakh to Rs. 20.51 lakh (ex-showroom).

GTX (diesel and turbo petrol)
