Kia India’s newly launched Syros SUV has made a remarkable entry into the market, garnering over 20,000 bookings since pre-orders began in early January 2025 and the official launch on February 1. This response highlights the Syros’s appeal to Indian consumers seeking a blend of style, technology, and practicality in a compact SUV.

Interestingly, 67% of Syros bookings are for the turbo-petrol engine, demonstrating a clear shift towards petrol powertrains in the current market. While both manual and automatic transmissions are available, manual remains the preferred choice, though automatic transmissions account for a substantial 38% of bookings.
A significant 46% of buyers have opted for the top-end trims (HTX and above), indicating a strong demand for premium features and technology. The top-spec HTX+(O) variant with Level-2 ADAS accounts for 18% of total bookings, suggesting that safety is also a key consideration for buyers.
Glacier White Pearl is the most popular color choice (32%), followed by Aurora Black Pearl (26%) and Frost Blue (20%).
The Kia Syros is priced competitively between Rs 9 lakh and Rs 17.80 lakh (ex-showroom). ADAS features are available for an additional Rs 80,000 on the top trim. Here are the variant-wise prices of the Syros 2025:

The Syros offers 2 engine options: a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine (120 PS, 172 Nm) and a 1.5-litre diesel engine (116 PS, 250 Nm), each available with manual and automatic transmission choices.
Kia is enhancing the ownership experience with various programs, including My Convenience Secure (wear-and-tear coverage), My Convenience (tailored maintenance packages), My Convenience Plus (maintenance, extended warranty, and roadside assistance), an Extended Warranty program, a Scratch Care Program, and a standard 3-year (extendable up to six years) Roadside Assistance program.
