Upcoming Mahindra Electric SUVs — Instrument Cluster Teased | V3Cars

Mahindra are set to take the wraps off their electric SUV concepts on August 15. Ahead of the unveiling, Mahindra have dropped yet another teaser, revealing the instrument cluster of the SUVs. While a digital instrument cluster is not new to Mahindra, the one in the upcoming electric SUVs offer multiple features never seen before.

The new teaser reveals a new levels of customisation that could make their debut with the upcoming range of electric SUVs. The video teaser suggests that users will get the option to create individual profiles and to alter various interior parameters of the car. These will include seat adjustment, climate control setting, ambient lighting colour and music preferences. Users will get the option to set the display and other interior parameters as per their taste with just the press of a button.

Among the SUVs teased, one is a straight up, boxy SUV with possibly 3 rows of seating. Two concepts seem to have a sporty rear end with an aggressively-slanting rear windshield and an integrated roof-mounted spoiler. This gives them a coupe-like side profile while the spoiler breaks the silhouette and maintains the SUV profile.

The final two concepts have a more obvious coupe styling. The last one even has a spoiler at the extreme end. Instead of integrating the spoiler with the roof, having it right around the taillights along with the muscular bonnet line almost makes it look like a muscle car with a hint of crossover. In fact, the last concept in the teaser looks a lot like a sedan with cross country touring aspirations. But, Mahindra have played both the SUV and sedan games and they know what they are good at. So, Mahindra calling all of their 5 electric concepts an SUV is not surprising.
