Mahindra India recently increased the prices of the Thar by up to Rs. 43,500. After this price revision, the Thar's ex-showroom prices now start at Rs. 10.98 lakh and tops out at Rs. 16.94 lakh. The new October 2023 prices are between 0.97% and 4.13% higher than before.
No variants of the Thar were discontinued by Mahindra.
Mahindra Thar 2.0L Turbo Petrol October 2023 Prices - Old Vs New
Prices of the Thar 2.0L turbo petrol went higher by up to Rs. 28,001 and the LX RWD automatic variant witnessed the biggest price change. In terms of percentage, for the Thar 2.0L turbo petrol, the LX RWD automatic variant saw the biggest price increase of 2.08%.

Mahindra Thar 2.2L Turbo Diesel October 2023 Prices - Old Vs New
The prices of the Thar 2.2L turbo diesel are now higher by up to Rs. 43,500. The prices of the Thar AX (O) RWD and LX RWD manual variants changed by as much as Rs. 43,500. For the Thar 2.2L turbo diesel, the AX (O) RWD manual variant got the biggest price increase of 4.13%.
