Mahindra have opened bookings for the new XEV 9e Cinelux Edition, which is priced at Rs. 29.35 lakh (ex-showroom). Deliveries of the special edition electric SUV are scheduled to begin shortly. The XEV 9e Cinelux Edition is based on the top Pack Three variant. It comes equipped with the 79kWh battery pack. Here’s a quick look at top features of the XEV 9e Cinelux Edition. Interested customers can now book the Cinelux Edition via Mahindra EV dealerships or online.

The updates are largely cosmetic. On the outside, the Cinelux Edition gets 2 exclusive monotone colour options – satin black and satin white – along with ‘Sinelux’ badging on the C-pillars. The rest of the exterior design remains unchanged from the Pack Three variant, including 19-inch alloy wheels, LED lighting and powered tailgate.

Inside, Mahindra have introduced a new brown and black dual-tone theme with contrast brown stitching on the seats, dashboard and steering wheel. The feature list remains identical to the full-loaded Pack Three variant, including 3 digital screens, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio setup, panoramic glass roof, head-up display, surround-view camera and multiple drive modes.

Battery, Range & Performance

The XEV 9e Cinelux Edition is available exclusively with the 79kWh battery pack. It uses a rear-mounted electric motor producing 286PS of power and 380Nm of torque. It offers a real-world range in excess of 500km per charge. The XEV 9e 79kWh variants can be charged from 10-100% in 7 hours and 30 minutes with a 11kW charger. Mahindra are offering customers the chance to buy the Cinelux Edition with or without the 11kWh charger. Here are the prices for the same:
