Mahindra XUV 3XO Scores 5 Stars In BNCAP Crash Tests | V3Cars
In the recent crash test reports from Bharat NCAP, the Mahindra XUV 3XO achieved full 5-star safety rating for adult as well as child safety. The XUV 3XO scored 29.36 points out of 32 in adult safety while the child safety score stood at 43 out of 49.
Since all of the safety features helping the XUV 3XO achieve a 5-star rating are available as standard, the safety rating is applicable to all variants of the 3XO.
Here’s a look at the standard safety features of the XUV3XO:
- 2x front airbags
- 2x curtain airbags
- 2x front side thorax airbags
- ABS with EBD
- Halogen projector headlamps
- Electronic stability control (ESC)
- ISOFIX
- 5x 3-point seatbelts
- All disc brakes

In addition, the higher variants also offer the following safety features:

In terms of active as well as passive safety, the higher variant of the XUV 3XO seems quite well loaded. It’s worth noting that the XUV 3XO’s predecessor, XUV300, also offered a driver knee airbag but it was later removed from the feature list.
