2026 Maruti Brezza — Variant-Powertrain Combination (Petrol, Turbo Petrol, CNG)

Here are the final engine-transmission-variant-combinations of the upcoming 2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift.

The upcoming 2026 Maruti Brezza facelift will get the following 4 powertrain options:

• 1.5L Normal Petrol-MT: The 1.5L normal petrol engine is the same as before and will be carried over with 1 very prominent change — it’ll get a 6-speed manual transmission. This powertrain will be available in all 4 variants of the 2026 Brezza.
• 1.5L Normal Petrol-AT: The 1.5L normal petrol-automatic powertrain will remain the same as before. This powertrain option will come in the higher 3 of the 4 variants — VXI, ZXI and ZXI Plus.
• 1.5L Normal CNG-MT: CNG bi-fuel option will also continue with the new Brezza 2026 with 2 notable changes. Firstly, it’ll get the new 6-speed manual instead of the 5-speed manual. Secondly, it’ll get an underbody CNG cylinder, which will drastically improve the usable boot space. Just like before, it’ll remain available in the lower 3 of the 4 variants — LXI, VXI and ZXI.
• 1.0L Turbo Petrol-MT: The turbo petrol engine is a new powertrain option for the Brezza. In the past, Maruti Suzuki have maintained that higher displacement has a big perceived value advantage over a small turbo engine even though a small turbo engine has superior drivability. This engine will also remain available in all 4 variants. This will help Maruti Suzuki figure out the demand split in favour of the turbo engine or against it. If the buyers prefer this option over the normal petrol, it’ll be a clear mandate for Maruti Suzuki to fully drop the 1.5L normal petrol engine from the Brezza’s engine options.
