Maruti Suzuki will officially enter the Indian electric car market tomorrow with the launch of the all-new e Vitara. Maruti Suzuki e Vitara To Launch Tomorrow – Expected Prices

The e Vitara is one of the most anticipated products of the year. Production for the India-spec model is already underway at Suzuki’s Hansalpur plant, and the company has even commenced exports, with the UK emerging as the leading overseas market.

Ahead of tomorrow’s price reveal, here’s a quick summary of everything confirmed or reliably known so far.

Maruti Suzuki e Vitara – Variants And Battery Options

Based on information accessed by V3Cars, the e Vitara will be offered in 3 variants and 2 battery pack options:

The Delta variant will serve as the entry point to the e Vitara lineup. It will offer the smaller 49kWh battery pack. The Zeta and Alpha will exclusively offer the larger 61.1kWh battery pack.

In international markets, the e Vitara also gets an AWD variant (dual motor). For India, however, only the front wheel drive (FWD) versions are expected at launch, with the AWD option likely to follow at a later stage if the market demand supports it.

The 49kWh battery pack is estimated to offer a range of over 400km on a full charge, while the larger 61.1kWh battery pack will offer a range of over 500km with the FWD configuration.

Maruti Suzuki e Vitara Performance Specifications

Although Maruti Suzuki are yet to publish the final power outputs of the e Vitara’s 3 variants, the international-spec figures offer a clear indication of what to expect.

  • 48.8kWh FWD: ~144PS
  • 61.1kWh FWD: ~170PS

Torque figures may differ slightly for India due to calibration changes, but the performance positioning will remain similar to global markets.
