Maruti Suzuki Fronx Engine And Transmission

The Fronx is the latest crossover from Maruti Suzuki. The Fronx marks the return of Maruti’s 1.0L turbo petrol engine that made its debut in the short-lived Baleno RS. The turbo petrol engine of the Fronx offers 100PS of power at 5500rpm and 148Nm of torque between 2000rpm and 4500rpm. The Fronx’s turbo petrol engine comes with 2 transmission options — a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

Apart from the turbo petrol engine, Maruti Suzuki also offer the Fronx with the same 1.2L normal petrol engine as the Baleno. However, Maruti only offer the 1.2L normal petrol engine with the first 3 variants of the Fronx — Sigma, Delta and Delta Plus.
