Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Reaches 3 Lakh Sales Milestone In 32 Months | V3Cars
Maruti Suzuki have announced a significant achievement for their C-segment SUV, the Grand Vitara. The SUV has crossed the remarkable milestone of 3 lakh unit sales in India. This feat was achieved in just 32 months, making the Grand Vitara the fastest SUV in its segment to reach this sales benchmark.

Grand Vitara’s Hybrid Powertrain And 4x4 Option Drives Sales
Maruti Suzuki say the Grand Vitara’s success highlights its strong appeal to modern Indian buyers. A key factor in this growth has been the popularity of its Strong Hybrid variants, which saw an impressive 43% year-on-year growth in the last financial year (FY24-25). This shows a clear shift towards more fuel-efficient and eco-friendly options among SUV buyers.
Beyond hybrids, the Grand Vitara also offers the Suzuki ALLGRIP SELECT 4x4 system paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox, providing versatility for various driving conditions, from city roads to more challenging terrains.
Maruti Suzuki Launch ‘Driven by Tech’ Campaign
To celebrate this significant milestone, Maruti Suzuki have launched a new TV campaign called ‘Driven by Tech’. This campaign aims to highlight the Grand Vitara’s position as a cutting-edge Tech SUV.
Mr. Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing and Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said:
