    Ignis caught testing expected to arrive in 2017

    New spy images of the Ignis has emerged and this time the new discovered features are outer rear view mirrors and new alloy wheels. According to reports the car is in the final stages of testing and it is expected to arrive sometime in early 2017. Ignis is a compact crossover and it was displayed in grand style at 2016 Auto Expo. For quite a while the car has undergone rigorous testing and it was expected to arrive during festive season.

According to reports the car is in the final stages of testing and it is expected to arrive sometime in early 2017. Ignis is a compact crossover and it was displayed in grand style at 2016 Auto Expo. For quite a while the car has undergone rigorous testing and it was expected to arrive during festive season. The intention behind Maruti Suzuki to introduce Ignis in 2017 is to cater to the robust demand of Brezza and Baleno. 

    The company is currently working on a strategy to reduce the waiting period of Brezza and Baleno which is four to eight months. Maruti Suzuki will commence production of Ignis in 2017 February at its acclaimed Gujarat factory, and by 2017 April the car is expected to launch.

    Ignis is an important launch for Maruti Suzuki, this is a brand new compact crossover, it will have impressive dimension features. The car is 1,595mm tall, 1,660mm wide and 3,700mm long, and the wheelbase measurement is 2,435mm and it has a 180mm ground clearance value. From exterior design point of view, the most striking feature is the styling creativity. Ignis has identities of a crossover and SUV. It is going to have a whole load of spectacular and high-tech features such as world-class touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay or SmartLink, engine start or stop system, keyless entry, reverse parking camera. The standard feature across all variants is dual airbags, EBD and ABS. The other high-tech safety equipment is automatic headlights with automatic leveling, LED headlights and fog lamps, lane departure warning, hill hold and hill descent control, electronic stability program, electronic brake-force distribution and anti-lock braking system.

    Ignis compact crossover will be engineered with an efficient 1.3-liter diesel and 1.2-liter petrol engine. The petrol mill generates fierce energies of 115Nm and 83bhp and the diesel engine pumps out 190Nm and 74bhp. The transmission options available is AMT gearbox or five-speed manual transmission. The estimated mileage offered by the petrol car is 20kmpl and the diesel vehicle is likely to give 26kmpl.

    The forthcoming Ignis will arrive with an impeccably creative design, rich and high-tech interior and power packed engine. Its strongest rival is Mahindra KUV100, and it will also face head on collision with Toyota Etios Cross, Hyundai i20 Active and Chevrolet Beat Active. Maruti Suzuki has effectively formulated its launch strategy, the Brezza Vitara and premium Baleno hatchback is in huge demand and the company has to work on increasing production and reducing waiting period.

    The upcoming Ignis has all round fantastic features and it will be sold at a price range of Rs 5 to 7 lakhs. Like the Brezza and Baleno, Ignis is likely to churn supreme buying power and for people who are keen on buying this car, it has so much to offer and customers can expect to experience great levels of comfort, safety and luxury.
