Made-In-India Suzuki Jimny 5 Door Gets ADAS In Australia

Maruti Suzuki have launched the Jimny 5 Door in Australia with one significant feature addition over the SUV sold in India – ADAS. Called the Jimny XL, the Australia-spec Jimny 5 Door is built in India and sold at a price tag of AUD 34,990 (equiv. to Rs. 19.51 lakh). The Jimny 5 Door sold in Australia features several ADAS features in order to comply with Australian safety regulations.

5 Door Jimny ADAS Features

The Jimny sold in Australia gets the following ADAS features:

Lane Departure Warning
Auto Emergency Braking
Anti-Collision Warning
Adaptive Cruise Control
Dual Camera Brake Support

Apart from these safety features, the Australia-spec Jimny 5 Door is identical to the model sold in India. They even share the same powertrain options – a 1.5-litre normal petrol engine (105PS and 134Nm) with 4-wheel-drive and the option of a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed torque converter automatic.
