Maruti Suzuki has revealed the design of the 2020 Vitara Brezza facelift at the Auto Expo. The updated Brezza is no longer available with a diesel engine. Instead, it gets a 1.5-litre BS6 petrol engine. The engine is paired available with Maruti’s mild-hybrid SHVS tech. Other than the powertrain upgrade, the sub-4m SUV has received subtle cosmetic tweaks. The prices of the updated Brezza will be revealed in the coming weeks:
The prices of the outgoing model are as follows:

The 1.5-litre petrol engine that powers the Brezza meets BS6 emission standard and is borrowed from the Ciaz and Ertiga. The engine is expected to deliver 105PS at 6000rpm and 138Nm of peak torque at 4400rpm.
As far as its looks are concerned, the Brezza facelift gets a reworked front bumper with a more prominent skid plate and redesigned fog lamp housings. The headlamps are now dual-barrel type and feature larger integrated DRLs compared to the outgoing model. Maruti Suzuki has also updated the Brezza’s front grille, which now gets heavy chrome treatment. Changes at the rear are subtle, with only the tail lamp internals and lower bumper going under the knife.
In terms of features, the top variant of the new 2020 Brezza is expected to get equipment like:
Smartplay Touchscreen infotainment
Android Auto and Apple Carplay
In the sub-4m SUV segment, the Brezza competes against the Hyundai Venue, 2020 Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Ford EcoSport and the upcoming Kia Sonet.
Prices of the 2020 Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza petrol will be revealed when it launches. It’s expected to go on sale before the end of March 2020.
