Maruti Suzuki XL6 Black Interior Revealed

by Jagdev Kalsi on Sunday, Aug 04 2019

Maruti Suzuki is set to launch Ertiga-based MPV — XL6 — on 21 August 2019. The carmaker recently revealed the XL6’ sketch and now it has teased exterior & interior of the upcoming MPV on its official site.

The teaser image of the front section of the XL6 reveals its headlamp & grille design, which looks unlike any Maruti Suzuki model. The headlamps seem to get LED reflector units. The Ertiga, on the other hand, gets projector headlamps.

There are two images of the interior of the XL6. One reveals the black dashboard with a dark coloured insert, replacing the black-beige interior theme with a wooden insert. The other image reveals the XL6’ second row captain seats. The seats of the MPV seem to get leather upholstery. The standard Ertiga features fabric upholstery even on the top variant.

While Maruti Suzuki is yet to reveal the XL6’ powertrain options, it’s a no-brainer that those would be shared with the Ertiga. We expect the XL6 to come equipped with the Ertiga’s 1.5-litre petrol engine with both manual & automatic transmission options.

The XL6 is expected to get more equipment than the standard Ertiga; LED headlamps and leather upholstery are some of those that are now confirmed. As a result it is expected to be priced at a premium over the Ertiga. The Ertiga petrol’s prices start from Rs 9.50 lakh & go up to Rs 10.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
