Jeep India have launched the Meridian 85th Anniversary Edition at a price of Rs. 36.05 lakh (ex-showroom). Based on the top-spec Overland variant, the special edition celebrates 85 years of the Jeep brand with cosmetic enhancements, additional features and exclusive branding. Production is limited to just 85 units.
Jeep Meridian 85th Anniversary Edition Price
The Meridian 85th Anniversary Edition is priced at Rs. 36.05 lakh (ex-showroom), making it Rs. 44,000 more expensive than the regular Overland variant. Bookings are now open at Jeep dealerships across India.
What's New In The Jeep Meridian 85th Anniversary Edition?
The Anniversary Edition gets several cosmetic updates over the standard Meridian, including:
- 85th Anniversary decals on the front doors and tailgate
- Exclusive wheel centre cap logo
- Gloss black alloy wheels
- Gold accent on the dashboard
- Ambient lighting package
Customers can also opt for dealer-installed 85th Anniversary AXS accessory packs, which include carpet floor mats, anniversary decals, additional ambient lighting and panoramic sunroof illumination.
Jeep are offering the special edition in the following exterior colours:
- White
- Green
- Red
- Grey
- Black
Jeep Meridian Now Gets CARA AI Voice Assistant
Along with the special edition, Jeep have introduced the CARA AI voice assistant to the Meridian. The new assistant supports voice commands in 52 languages, including several Indian languages, and can perform functions such as:
- Navigation
- Weather updates
- Phone calls
- Music controls
- Selected vehicle functions
Jeep have also added the CARA AI assistant to the regular Meridian Limited (O) variant, which now carries a price premium of Rs. 45,000.
Jeep Meridian 85th Anniversary Edition Powertrain
The special edition remains mechanically unchanged. It continues to offer the same 2L diesel engine and automatic transmission as the Overland variant. It produces 170PS of power and 350Nm of torque and comes paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission.
