Maruti Suzuki have launched the 2026 Brezza at a starting price of Rs. 7.40 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom). The carmaker is yet to reveal the variant-wise prices of the SUV. The Maruti Brezza is offered in 4 variants – LXI, VXI, ZXI and ZXI Plus. Apart from a mild facelift, the new Brezza gets significant mechanical changes such as the introduction of a turbo petrol engine.
In this article, we take a look at the major upgrades, new features and colour options of the Brezza facelift.
2026 Brezza Normal Petrol, Turbo Petrol & CNG Specs
For the MY2026 update, Maruti have made significant changes to the powertrain specs of the Brezza. Apart from the inclusion of Maruti’s 1L turbo petrol engine (Booster Jet), Maruti are now offering the 1.5L normal petrol engine with a new 6-speed manual transmission. Additionally, the Brezza CNG now offers a more usable boot space thanks to the introduction of an under-floor CNG tank.
Check out the powertrain specs of the Brezza facelift in the table below:
- 1.5L Normal Petrol-MT: The 1.5L normal petrol engine is the same as before. However, it now gets a 6-speed manual transmission. This powertrain is available in all 4 variants of the 2026 Brezza.
- 1.5L Normal Petrol-AT: The 1.5L normal petrol-automatic powertrain remains the same as before. This powertrain option is available in the VXI, ZXI and ZXI Plus variants.
- 1.5L Normal CNG-MT: CNG bi-fuel option gets 2 notable changes. Firstly, it gets a new 6-speed manual instead of the 5-speed manual. Secondly, it’ll features an underbody CNG cylinder, which significantly improves the usable boot space. Just like before, it is available in all variants except the top ZXI Plus.
- 1.0L Turbo Petrol-MT: The turbo petrol engine is a new powertrain option for the Brezza. In the past, Maruti Suzuki have maintained that higher displacement has a big perceived value advantage over a small turbo engine even though a small turbo engine has superior drivability. This engine is available in all 4 variants.

2026 Brezza Facelift Exterior Upgrades
On the outside, the 2026 Brezza gets the following changes:
- New front fascia
- Smoked chrome grille
- New fog lamp designs
- New alloy wheels
- Refreshed side garnish
2026 Brezza Interior & Features
On the inside, the 2026 Brezza facelift offers the following updates:
- Soft-touch brown dashboard with black trim
- 64 colour ambient lighting
- New leatherette upholstery
- New 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system
It continues to offer features such as:
- Sunroof (single-pane)
- Ventilated front seats
- Arkamys audio system
- Wireless charger with cooling pad
- Air purifier
2026 Brezza Safety Features
The new Brezza has received a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP. Standard safety features include:
- 6 airbags
- Electronic stability program
- Hill hold control
- ABS with EBD
- 3-point seat belts for all seats
Higher variants offer additional safety features such as:
- Front parking sensors
- Safe exit warning
- Emergency stop signal
- Blindspot warning
