2026 Maruti Brezza Bharat NCAP Crash Test Scores

Bharat NCAP tested the ZXI Plus variant of the Brezza facelift equipped with the 1.5L normal petrol engine and 6-speed automatic. However, the safety rating is valid across the entire variant lineup.

Adult Occupant Protection (30.41/32)

The Brezza scored 14.41 out of 16 points in the frontal offset deformable barrier test and a perfect 16 out of 16 points in the side movable deformable barrier test.

Key observations from the crash tests include:

• Good protection for the driver's head, neck, pelvis, thighs and feet
• Adequate protection for the driver's chest and tibiae
• Good protection for all major body regions of the front passenger, except the tibiae, which received an adequate rating
• Good protection for the head, chest, abdomen and pelvis in both side impact and side pole impact tests

Child Occupant Protection (43/49)

The Brezza scored:

• 24/24 in the dynamic crash test
• 12/12 for child restraint system (CRS) installation
• 7/13 in vehicle assessment

For the child occupants:

• The 18-month-old child dummy scored full marks in both frontal and side impact tests
• The 3-year-old child dummy also achieved full scores in both crash tests

While the Brezza secured maximum points in the dynamic and CRS installation tests, it lost points in the vehicle assessment category, resulting in an overall COP score of 43 out of 49.

The tested ZXI Plus automatic variant came equipped with:

• 6 airbags
• Electronic stability control (ESC)
• Seatbelt reminders for all seats
• Front seatbelt pretensioners
• ISOFIX child seat anchorages
• 3-point seatbelts for all occupants
