We’ll also include our observations based on the sales data and possible reasons behind a massive increase or drop in sales, where applicable. C-Segment SUV May 2022 Car Sales - YoY Change

The Hyundai Creta is the only C-segment SUV with a 5-figure sales in May 2022 as well as May 2021
The Duster, Koroq and T-Roc are no longer on sale
The Karoq and T-Roc have served their purpose as a stop-gap solution until Skoda and Volkswagen bring their made-in-India Kushaq and Taigun
The Kona and Nissan Kicks are the top gainers with 433% and 264% YoY gains, respectively in the month of May 2022
Among the top losers are the Tucson and S-Cross with a decline of 99% and 36%, respectively

C-Segment SUV May 2022 Car Sales - MoM Change

In MoM sales figures as well, the Creta maintains a clear lead over the rest of the C-segment SUVs as it’s the only one with a 5-figure sales in April as well as May 2022
The Kia Seltos maintains its position in the second spot
The MG Astor and the Mahindra Scorpio were the top gainers in May 2022 posting 712% and 60.3% MoM gains
